Deakin University’s Art Collection and Galleries hold around 1600 diverse artworks including a fine collection of paintings, ceramics and sculpture, most of which is contemporary in nature and publicly displayed from Melbourne to Warrnambool throughout the University's gallery spaces, buildings and grounds. Deakin’s Art Collection and Galleries demonstrate the University’s interest in the study, patronage and advancement of the visual arts in Australia and, through its annual public exhibition program, Deakin proves itself to be a vibrant and popular asset to its communities.

Starting in the courtyard of the Burwood Art Gallery, Art on campus takes participants on a guided walking tour of selected public sculptures at Deakin's Melbourne Burwood Campus by the Art Collection Officer and Curator. Art on campus will build your knowledge, appreciation and understanding of the visual arts.
